What kind of spread is on your kitchen table come Christmas morning? Over at Casa Witherspoon, Reese, Ava, Deacon and presumably Jake will be enjoying an early-morning snack of fresh, warm, homemade Applesauce Cake, baked with love by momma Reese herself. According to FemaleFirst.co.uk, Reese recently told reporters, "I love to cook - I make an applesauce cake every morning on Christmas morning."

What? Hollywood actresses eat cake? Well, I guess it is only once a year. Curious as to what's in applesauce cake? Here's a recipe -- it sounds pretty delicious.

And that's not all she eats on Christmas. "There's a lot of food involved in our Christmas," she adds. But while she's quick to point out that she doesn't spoil her kids, they still get the full Christmas experience: "Christmas is always great with kids around, so I'm really lucky I have two great kids. We have our traditions - we get to make cookies for Santa before Christmas Eve, and hang stockings and decorate the tree."

How very ... normal.
