Here are some ideas for five fast, easy and practically free Halloween costumes for college students.

One Night Stand - This is for the ladies only. Just wear what you wore yesterday, smudge your makeup and muss up your hair. A pair of tights or pantyhose hanging out of your bag is a nice touch.

Professor - If you've got a tweed jacket with suede elbow patches, great. If not, just put on some pleated khakis, a sports jacket, a button-up shirt and a bow tie. Wear some eyeglasses and walk around with a smug expression.

Greek God/Goddess - Bedsheets: not just for beds anymore. Wrap the sheet around your body leaving one shoulder exposed. Tie a cord around your waist and wear sandals.

Cat/Dog - Wear black or brown clothes and paint on some whiskers. Those with long hair can add ears in the form of pigtails tied up high on either side of the head.

Ghost - Bedsheets: not just for Greek Goddesses anymore. A marker and scissors are all you need to transform a plain white sheet into a plain white ghost

Flasher - Shoes, socks and a buttoned up trench coat. For added effect, wear flesh-colored underwear or bodysuit and occasionally open up your coat and scream "look at me!"
