pasta, dyed pasta

I vividly remember crafting necklaces with dyed pasta as a child, and I can't imagine not sharing this craft with my future kids. Why not take a cue from Amazing Moms and create a necklace with items you already own? The tutorial calls for dried apricots, cranberries, raisins, apples, orange peels and popped corn. A modern day candy necklace that's actually good for your kids? Bonus!

I'd make a few necklaces for the rest of my family members to eat from. Of course, if they're not into dried fruit, you can always feed it to the birds for a Thanksgiving feast of their own, or hang them outdoors for fun, quirky wreaths.

Sure beats dyed pasta, right?
