Wild Turkey and football, two Thanksgiving classics. Photo: WildTurkey.com

For most of us, Thanksgiving isn't complete without a little turkey. For a special group of us, that means a little Wild Turkey.

The well-known Kentucky straight bourbon, aka "The Dirty Bird," "Gobble Gobble," "Thunder Chicken," "Boat Gas" and "The Kickin' Chicken", plays a central role in several seasonal Thanksgiving-themed cocktails.

Below are 15 of my favorites, ranging from delicious sounding (#6 "Wild Thanksgiving") to the outrageous (#3. "Hpnotized By A Tattooed Bullfighter While On A Turkey Hunt In The Southern Yukon") to the vaguely gross (#5 "Turkey's Blood" or #7 "Turkey Fart"). But it's unfair to judge until you try, so bottoms up!

Cheers, and remember to toast the chef!
