There's an energy shortage; this is rediculous! I'm glad I don't live anywhere near this fanatic.

I'm trying to figure out what makes those houses so special. I have seen better light displays. Those are mostly ho-hum.

First of all, your headlines don't match the articles; they're transposed. The "over-the-Top Festive Lights Display" shows the store windows and the "Decorated Windows to Drool Over" show the home light displays.
Aren't we supposed to be conserving energy?

NONE of these compare to the house in my state. I don't know their names or exact address but they live on Jackson Rd. in Cornish NH. If you can find info and pictures on it, PLEASE DO! It is incredible! It is really in the middle of nowhere, the road is dark. Then you start to see signs "elves playing" "reigndeer crossing" and lights strung over the road. The BAM, out of nowhere this amazing light and decoration display, it is INSANE. SO many lights and decorations. What is more, the man dresses up as Santa and his Wife as Mrs. Clause and people can actually GO IN part of their house which is just as decked out as the outside. They give kids candy and grown ups "snowman poop" (cotton balls in custom packaging lol).
If you're in NH, go there. While these were cool, this place blows them out of the water.

3 or 4 of these were above average. It's like the person who wrote this had to reach a deadline and took pictures on one average street. Some of these were a string of normal light on the roofline and a little in the bushes...no big deal at all.
