First the Gosselins take up our summer with their inane divorce battle -- now they're trying to ruin our Christmas, too.

This time, though, it's not bickering parents Jon and Kate in the spotlight, but their kids. The eight former stars of the TLC show "Jon and Kate Plus 8" no longer believe in Santa Claus. OK, it happens -- even to eight-year-old twins and their five-year-old sextuplet siblings.

But here's the kicker: A source close to the family told US Magazine that twins Maddy and Cara were the ones who spilled the beans to the younger kids. And now, the sextuplets -- Alexis, Hannah, Aeden, Collin, Leah and Joel -- are telling other kids at their Wernersville, Pa. school the bad news.

It would appear that it's no coincidence that Gosselin and Grinch both start with "G." Granted, the kids have had an incredibly rough year thanks to their ~~famewhore~~ troubled parents. If there was anything that could shake your belief in something as good and wholesome as Santa Claus, we're pretty sure that having your life played out on the cover of the tabloids would do it.

But that doesn't really excuse the Gosselin gang from ruining the magic for other children. Nor does it explain why Jon and Kate haven't stepped in to put a stop to this behavior. Although given how the two of them have behaved recently, maybe we don't need any explanation.

I am still hoping that they get back together.....God blessed them with all
of those children.....the parents need to put their differences aside...

This is ridiculous. Jeanne Sager should feel ashamed for writing such RUBBISH!!!!! Leave those kids alone. Do you know how many kids tell other that Santa isnt real every year. Someone told me when I was younger and oh well that was it. It is not the end of the world. And it definately doesn't "ruin christmas"(Sucky title by tthe way) And for those of you who think it is funny to call Mady names and say what bad behavior she has can kiss it. There are so many children who throw tantrums and have attitudes, so Mady shouldn't be singled out. Watch the show supernanny and then tell me how "bad" she is. This article sucked. I hope Jeanne Sager feels like crap for writing it.

Big deal my daughter started at 4 yrs old questioning Santa. Kids at daycare were saying that he was not real. These ppl need to get over it.

No, they don't need to get over it. The parents should sit down and discuss it with their kids and tell them NOT to share what they know. Children have such incredibly short childhoods these days - why ruin it?

I totally agree. My daughter is three and Im not even sure I want to put up with Santa charade, and Im not going to force her to lie to other kids or keep her mouth closed. It was going to happen sooner or later, so why are the Gosselin children accused of ruining Christmas?! Last time I checked, I didnt believe in Santa and my Christmas is just fine.

I agree...the only reason this made the news is because the media is stalking their every move and this must be the only thing they could come up with. I am sure there are plenty of children around the world their age doing the same thing.

EXACTLY dzmom, couldn't have said it better. There is not a kid alive who wasn't told there 'ain't no Santa Clause' before they were ready to hear it. Good grief people, its not the end of the world. To all those upset moms out there, just tell your kids what my mom told me. She simply said that "of course Santa won't come if you don't believe", so you can bet, I BELIEVED til I was 13 years old, haha...I think you all should understand that Kate has alot more pressing things to deal with right now. Santa is probably not even on her short list. Give it a rest.

Mady may be a brat but you have no place saying that in front of who knows how many people. I personally think Mady has some problems that her parents need to address. BUT how can they when they have so many problems themselves. Mady need some understanding and kind words from people who care about her. It takes 10 postives to cover 1 negative. She needs love and help

Layla, are you talking about the same look we saw KATE give to Jon way to many times (well, the shows I saw that is which were enough for my eyes and ears) to count on that show???

The shows I saw, again, I only watched the marathon prior to the "big announcement", I got the same feeling many of you did about Mady. That lil girl is a piece of work. I guess that old saying is true!! There were many times when I saw and heard that lil girl being "bossy" just like her mommy and I felt so bad for the other kids because she never got a talkin to. It was like she could say and do whatever she wanted and yet the others.... if they did, they got that talkin to. In my eyes, that's called favortism and again, from the shows I saw, KATE showed a lot of favortism towards that Mady!! While she may look like Jon, she acts just like her MOM and to me, that's scary!!!! Come on, look at how old she is. She's just starting and if she's this bad already, can you imagine what she'll be like once she hits Kate's age??? SCARY, JUST SCARY...... Peace

How dare you publish this as news. They're just kids. Every kid makes mistakes, and in this case, they're just telling other kids the truth. It's not like they're stealing things or murdering someone. Ever think that those kids might WANT to know? Their parents are LYING to them!

Moreover, how would you feel if you saw something like this about YOU when you were a kid? It's not those kids' fault that they were on TV. Remember that.
