"The Polar Express" book and movie remain a holiday favorite for children and families. Beyond reading the book and watching the movie, there are other Polar Express activities that are sure the enhance the magic of Christmas for children young and old.

How about a Polar Express Party? Make it a Polar Express pajama party by asking everyone to arrive in their most comfy pj's. Put on the "The Polar Express" movie and serve your guests Polar Chocolate Nougat Caramel Squares, Candy Cane Sugar Cookies and Hot Chocolate. After the movie, get them busy with these fun Polar Express activities.

Get Colorful - Print up some Polar Express coloring pages and set the kids loose with crayons, markers or paint.

Get Crafty - Make a popcorn garland to decorate the Christmas tree or build a Popsicle stick reindeer.

Get Competitive - Pass out Polar Express crossword puzzles, word finds or mazes and award prizes for the kid who finishes first.

Of course, no Polar Express party would be complete without a reading from the book itself. Check out "Polar Express" from the library or get a copy at the bookstore and read the story aloud. This could be the beginning of a beautiful holiday tradition.
