Best known for her role as the stylish Blossom in the early 1990's television series of the same name, Mayim Bialik is now all grown up and raising a family of her own. Here she shares some Valentine's Day memories and reveals her unusual plans for spending the day of love with her family.

What is your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
I don't really have one. I have never dated terribly romantic or overtly expressive men to be honest! As a kid, I liked the classic candy hearts and collecting Valentines with favorites of the 80's on them: Snoopy, Holly Hobbie, Strawberry Shortcake, etc.

What is your worst Valentine's Day memory?
It's kind of funny... when I was 15, I briefly dated Stephen Dorff after he worked with me on an episode of "Blossom." We had a plan to go out on Valentine's Day for lunch and he simply did not show up! He sent a dozen roses a few days later, but still...it sucked.

What's the best gift you ever gave or received from a Valentine?
Last year (before I stopped eating dairy), my husband got me a small box of Godiva chocolates. They were all they were cracked up to be. Incredible. Now if only they came out with vegan ones!

How do you plan on celebrating Valentine's Day this year?
Since we have had kids, and we don't really go out as a couple anymore, we do something low-key as a family. So this year, I plan to take my 4-year-old son for a ride on a zeppelin (Airship Ventures)! My husband and the baby will watch from below and we will eat somewhere in Long Beach.

Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
I always liked making small Valentines for close friends and now I help my son make them for his homeschool group. We all get together as a group to exchange them and everyone gets the same amount so no one feels left out. And they are a simple pleasure: Made with love by tiny hands. No Martha Stewart stencils allowed!

What's your ideal Valentine's Day?
Sleeping in after my husband gets up with the boys -- even if they wake up at 6!
