Best known for her role as the stylish Blossom in the early 1990's television series of the same name,
Mayim Bialik is now all grown up and raising a family of her own. Here she shares some Valentine's Day memories and reveals her unusual plans for spending the day of love with her family.
What is your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
I don't really have one. I have never dated terribly romantic or overtly expressive men to be honest! As a kid, I liked the classic candy hearts and collecting Valentines with favorites of the 80's on them: Snoopy, Holly Hobbie, Strawberry Shortcake, etc.
What is your worst Valentine's Day memory?
It's kind of funny... when I was 15, I briefly dated
Stephen Dorff after he worked with me on an episode of "Blossom." We had a plan to go out on Valentine's Day for lunch and he simply did not show up! He sent a dozen roses a few days later, but still...it sucked.
What's the best gift you ever gave or received from a Valentine?
Last year (before I stopped eating dairy), my husband got me a small box of Godiva chocolates. They were all they were cracked up to be. Incredible. Now if only they came out with vegan ones!
How do you plan on celebrating Valentine's Day this year?
Since we have had kids, and we don't really go out as a couple anymore, we do something low-key as a family. So this year, I plan to take my 4-year-old son for a ride on a zeppelin (
Airship Ventures)! My husband and the baby will watch from below and we will eat somewhere in Long Beach.
Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
I always liked making small Valentines for close friends and now I help my son make them for his homeschool group. We all get together as a group to exchange them and everyone gets the same amount so no one feels left out. And they are a simple pleasure: Made with love by tiny hands. No Martha Stewart stencils allowed!
What's your ideal Valentine's Day?
Sleeping in after my husband gets up with the boys -- even if they wake up at 6!

Celeb Couples We Miss
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, 1999 – 2005
Before she dated Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson hated football – specifically, her husband Nick Lachey's love of it. In turn, Nick hated Jessica's compulsive shopping and questions about tuna. But it was these adorable dysfunctions that made us love them together.

Celeb Couples We Miss
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, 2007 - 2009
Reese broke our hearts (and Jake's) when she ended their relationship last year. The adorable couple met on the set of Rendition, right after her divorce with Ryan Philippe. Us Magazine reports Reese called it quits because she didn't want to marry Jake. We'd switch places with Reese any day!
Celeb Couples We Miss
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, 1998 – 2002
Before she had two kids and a meltdown, and before he started dating interchangeable vapid starlets, Britney and Justin were the princess and prince of pop music and the ultimate in pop royalty. For the love of god guys, get back together!
Celeb Couples We Miss
Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon 1986 - 2009
We didn't even think breaking up was an option for these two. The couple met on the set of the 1988 film Bull Durham. After 23 years together, two sons and tons of liberal activism, America's favorite unmarried Hollywood couple split. We'll need to go to therapy over this one.
Celeb Couples We Miss
Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, October - December 2009
The rumored teen couple seemed too good to be true. The Valentine's Day costars never actually admitted to dating, but they were spotted eating fro-yo together, watching basketball and blushing when asked about the other. Fans of the couple will simply have to rely on the big screen to get their dose of Tay-Squared.
Celeb Couples We Miss
Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere, 2007 – 2009
We'll miss seeing paparazzi shots of these two Heroes hotties vacationing in Bora Bora or shopping together in LA. The couple, who had a 12-year age difference, reportedly broke up because of their different lifestyles.
Celeb Couples We Miss
Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole, 2008 - 2009
We all saw it coming from their frequent fights on The Hills, but we we'll miss this couple, who was a welcome break from all of the Speidi drama. But something tells us we haven't seen the last of these two.The Playboy bunny and the player are both are signed on for next season.
Celeb Couples We Miss
Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, 2002 - 2009
While reports claim they were polar opposites, we thought they were perfect together! Most of all, we'll miss the music that the singer and producer put out together.
Celeb Couples We Miss
Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek,1992 - 2009
We were deeply saddened when actors Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek split last year. The couple had three children and were together for 16 years. That's basically an eternity in Hollywood!
Celeb Couples We Miss
Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, 2005 – 2006
After Jennifer Aniston divorced Brad Pitt, the world waited with bated breath to see who she would date first. When she picked the anti-Pitt – oafish funnyman Vince Vaughn – everyone celebrated. Alas, just like the movie that brought them together, they broke up.
