Looking for a fun twist on the standard celebrity couple costume? How about America's Favorite Opposites, Jesse James and Sandra Bullock?

Though they're now legally divorced, Sandra Bullock and Jesse James have been one of the most buzzed about couples (and pair of exes) of 2010. A costume of one them is kind of OK... a couple's costume of both? Halloween gold. Here's how to go out as the screen queen and her publicly detested biker ex-hubby:

What You Need
Wig (optional)
Crepe hair and adhesive
Formal dress
Costume tattoo sleeves
Black tee shirt and jeans

Hair
Unless you have beautiful long, dark brown hair naturally, you'll need a wig for Sandra Bullock's hair. A simple long dark wig can be found inexpensively online or in most costume shops. For Jesee James, a wig isn't necessary, but hair gel is. Slick the hair straight back with a comb and plenty of gel. A goatee is necessary; if you can't or won't grow a real one for the costume, apply one with inexpensive crepe hair and adhesive (a simple tutorial on making a crepe hair beard can be found here).

Makeup
Sandra should be made up glamorously, but muted -- she usually wears earth-tones cosmetics and light-colored lipstick, although if you want to glam it up you can replicate her Oscars face with a bright red lip.

Clothing
For Sandra Bullock, dress as though she's at an awards show or premiere; look for a formal black cocktail dress or gown at a thrift store. Nothing too sparkly, but definitely glamorous. Though Jesse James wore formal tuxedos to her Hollywood events, that doesn't make a great costume. Instead, go for jeans and a black t-shirt (if you paint the words "Monster Garage" on it in fabric paint, all the better), accessorized with a pair of costume tattoo sleeves.

Props

A golden Oscar prop for Sandra. Resist the urge to clock your costume partner over the head with it, though -- he or she is only pretending to be Jesse James.
