Everyone loves giving homemade gifts but sometimes it's hard to think of something homemade for the men in our lives: Fathers, brothers, husbands or boyfriends. They're all hard to shop for, and even more difficult to craft for. Crafter Liz Stanley has the perfect solution.

This tutorial is for a simple business card holder that's small enough to fit into his pocket and masculine enough to not scream 'Made With Love!' It requires very basic sewing skills and a few simple supplies you probably have around your house. Plus the personalized letter will make it even more special. It'll be a gift they'll be sure to remember and maybe most importantly, use!

Cut a piece of ribbon 6'' long. With the larger felt piece lying long-side horizontal, pin one side of the ribbon about 1'' away from the edge.

After sewing that section you just pined into place, flip the ribbon around and pin it. Then sew it at that same spot on the other side of the felt piece.

Now flip the ribbon over to the other side of the felt piece. It will be curved until the wallet is folded in half.

Cut an initial out from the piece of coordinating felt with the iron-on adhesive attached.

Iron the letter on just above the ribbon and about 2 inches in from the right side. You can fold the wallet in half at this point to get an idea of what it will look like and where placement should be.

Take the other two smaller pieces of felt and hand stitch the snaps on either side, exactly in the middle of each, being careful to stitch far enough away from the edge to leave room for a top stitch.

Cut another piece of ribbon 4 3/4'' long and pin to one piece of the felt as shown

Sew along the edge to keep it in place.

Trim the corners and add a line of fabric and add a line of fabric glue right on top of the stitch line you just made. Fold the ribbon down on top of the glue and tuck in any edges so it looks neat.
Do the same with a second piece of ribbon on the other small felt piece.

Now align the smaller felt pieces on top of the larger piece and pin into place. Sew, top stitching, along the edges, being certain to leave the middle open making two pockets to hold business cards.

Slip the business cards inside. You're done!
