This year for Father's Day, you can buy Dad a funny card at the grocery -- or you can make him a card and personalize it with a map of his favorite city. Gina Houseman from Papersheep walks you through this simple craft; we promise it will make Dad's day.

Start by gathering the following supplies:

1 sheet of cardstock, folded down the middle

1 map of your dad's favorite city

X-acto knife

Cutting mat

Ruler

Pencil

Glue

Assemble using these simple steps:

Print out the letters DAD in a bold large font using a word processing program or draw them out yourself with pencil.

Draw in tabs on the top and bottom of the A and on the left side of the first D and the right side of the second D. Cut out the letters with tabs.

Trace the letters onto the folded card stock, centering the A over the fold. Do not trace around the tabs, but leave them blank.

Cut along the outside of the letters with a X-acto knife, leaving it attached where the tabs were not traced. Fully remove the inside sections of each letter. Push the letters forward from behind gently.

Trace the shape of the cardstock on a nice looking section of the map. Add a 1/4" on the top and bottom. Fold the map down the center. Glue the cardstock onto the traced section of the map.

Sign your name and give to your Dad on Father's Day with a smile!
